Here there are lots of great things to see and do, you can even write for the view. . .

Thanks so much for the excellent ‘Country Code’ pack! We have used the resources over the last half term and our Explorers & Juniors have all enjoyed watching the DVD clips as an introduction to their learning. Each girl has made a project about the countryside with one ‘rule’ of the code learnt each week and illustrated in their projects in different ways – e.g. collage, puzzles, wordsearches, spot-the-difference etc. For our last company evening of the term we decided to put it all into practice and we went on a ramble to Gusted Hall Wood where we saw badger sets & bluebells as well as all the lovely trees and plants. Great fun was had by all – proved by the muddy boots & trousers! Attached is a couple of photos of the ramble.
Meanwhile, back at the church our Seniors & Brigaders were getting in the mood for National Competitions by having a 60’s theme party! The leaders decorated the room, and everyone dressed up in 60’s gear, including hair & make-up! Non-alcoholic cocktails were served as well as nibbles while 60’s music played in the background. A great time was had by all – as you can see from the photos!
